So... He proposed.
He got the ring a week earlier than expected so I had no idea, which was nice. He suggested going for a walk up this mountain near where we live. Its a cute little mountain, and because I like going for walks I obliged. I did notice that he rushed me up to the top, and that every so often his hand went into his pocket, seemingly checking something, but I wasn't 100% sure he would propose so I let it go and thought nothing of it. Then at the top with the spectacular views he pulled me close, got down on one knee and asked in the cutest way ever, "Will you marry me?" I of course, said yes and he slipped the sparkling new ring onto my finger. So happy, so excited, so in love. I have the best fiancee ever! ♥
So... bought the wedding bands the other day. Mine is an 18c White Gold and and his is a thick Palladium plain band. We are going to get them engraved with the date in roman numerals. It would look kinda like;
I chose Llyndir Hall in the end. It was perfect, it was the only place I could actually visualise myself getting married! It will be an outside ceremony (Yay!!) and then we have the Greek gardens, our own conservatory and the reception hall (which is huge) all to ourselves. I have also chose the colours, Fuchsia and Orange. Sounds wild, but they look great together. My soon-to-be and I are choosing all the little details, like a old retro-style sweet stand and tables names as constellations which personalises it as perfectly us. I love it already so much. I have left choosing a dress until after my holiday in California. I can't wait to introduce my dad to his future son-in-law it will be amazing! I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait!!!
